Stones and Chakras

To start the year right , let’s start by clearing our chakras. One way we can work on that is by using healing stones for each chakra to help clear the chakra centers in a gentle way.

First, the Root Chakra, is where we get our security, physical energy, our will power  and grounding energy. It’s located at the base of the spine. The color that resonates with the first chakra is red.  We can use Garnet, smoky Quartz, Black Tourmaline, Black Obsidian, Hematite, and Red Zincite to help clear the FIRST CHAKRA.

The second Chakra ( Sacral Chakra ) connects us to our sexuality,our emotions and our creativity. It is located below the navel area. The color connected to this chakra is orange. Stones used to clear and heal the SECOND CHAKRA are Carnelian, Orange Calcite, Vanadinite.

The third Chakra ( Solar Plexus Chakra ) is where we get our personal power and our intellect. It is located right below the breastbone. The color connected to this chakra is yellow and stones used to work on the THIRD CHAKRA are Yellow Jasper, Golden Calcite and Citrine.

The fourth Chakra ( Heart Chakra ) is where our love and compassion, our universal consciousness resides. It is located in the center of our chest. The colors connected to this chakra are green and pink. Stones used to work on the FOUTH CHAKRA are Malachite, Jade, Green Aventurine, Water melon Tourmaline, Rose Quartz.

The fifth Chakra ( Throat Chakra ) is our expression and communication center, located at our throat area and the color connected to this chakra is blue. Stones to use on the FIFTH CHAKRA are blue Turquoise, Sodalite , Blue Kyanite, Blue Calcite.

The sixth Chakra ( Third eye chakra )  rules our psychic power, spiritual awareness and our intuition. It is located between the eyebrows and the color connected to it is indigo. Stones to use on the SIXTH CHAKRA are Sugilite, Azurite, and Lapis Lazuli.

The seventh Chakra ( Crown Chakra ) is where we get our cosmic consciousness and enlightenment . It’s right above our head and connected to the colors of violet and golden white. Stones used for the SEVENTH CHAKRA are Amethyst, White Topaz, White Calcite, Quartz Crystal.

These are some of the basic stones that are used in clearing chakras. Experiment and see how it works for you. One of my favorites is Quartz Crystal that can actually be used on ALL chakras.
